At Phillip island outside of Melbourne, Australia. Like any other place in the world near the ocean there are lots of seagulls harassing the beach goers.
Melbourne Cricket Grounds
On a tour of the Melbourne Cricket Grounds (MCG) they took us around through the stadium and right down next to the field. Unfortunately not right onto the field. Later on we went to a 20/20 game which is apparently a short version of cricket that only last a few hours rather than several days. Mind you by the end of the game I still did not have a clue how to play.
Day 338 – Kooky Koalas
Day 337 – Great ocean road
Day 336 – Cooks Cottage
Built by the parents of captain James cook, it was moved from England to Melbourne in the 20th century where it now sits in Fitzroy gardens. Takes about 5 minutes to see the whole inside and the garden if you’re in a hurry. An interesting sight to see but it probably took us longer to walk to/from our parking spot than to see the cabin.
Day 335 – Hang ten.
Watching… Waiting… For the right wave. Down the coast outside Melbourne Australia and past the surfing village of Torquay there is a little cove perfect for surfing and judging by the amount of people its not a well kept secret. Like us it looked like this guy was taking a break from the rush of the waves.
Day 334 – Harbour cruise
Day 333 – Underground
Day 332 – Waiting for a plane
Obviously Im far from a little behind on my posts for those that have been checking…. Haha.
This was taken in the Melbourne while my brother and I waited for my mom and sister’s flight to come in. Lucky for us we had to wait until everyone else had left the airport before they cleared customs … Without bags – which didn’t make one of their connections.
Afterwards we popped out to the Royal Botanical Gardens and the shrine of remembrance for some good photo opportunities.
Day 331 – Down under
Day 330 – Skipping Christmas
Getting ready to board the flight from Los Angeles to Melbourne, Australia on Christmas Eve. By the time I boarded the plane at 10pm, the airport terminal was nearly deserted. On the flight, I didn’t see Santa before or after I crossed the dateline … Nor was there a stocking at my feet when I woke up.
